OOC YSS Kaiyō II Discussion

Greetings, gang-group (@Ametheliana @Gunhand4171 @Gles @Nameless @Megabirb @Sunny D). New post's up. Sorry it was a bit late this week, and sorry if some sentence cuts off midway through or something! Pretty tired over here. I was going to gloss over going to the convenience store and advance us, but kind of ran out of steam to get there this time around. But enough about me being sleepy: get out there and post!

Hope to see Mega-b and Sunny having something to say if you two are able!
 
Just as a quick reminder, I've written in two separate GM posts that no one in the squad is seriously injured. You guys will know if and when meaningful injuries occur because they'll be specific and detailed as to how they impact your characters.
 
Just a heads up for May! A lot will be expected of you the players!

We'll have an open rp that we'll be doing a quick month-long battle/mission in alongside raz's current mission. So prepare for a few posts a week in May to get to both threads. I'd rather you focus on the main mission if you can't do that much posting, though.

I'm looking forward to it, so please do so too everyone!
 
Hello again, @Ametheliana @Gunhand4171 @Gles @Nameless @Megabirb @Sunny D. It seems like it was just yesterday I made a GM post but here we are again!

I addressed what I could, but sorry for not getting anything specific for Sif and Rio! Or really anyone. You all just walked outside and are conversing among characters. Feel free to begin patching Molli up and continuing the conversation. Whether that's in the rain or somewhere less wet is up to you; Aiko sees Molli coming out and the rest close behind, but she isn't pathfinding this mission so I'll leave the next steps up to you all as you write your characters exiting the mini-mart. Especially because we haven't really figured out where to go yet!

Okily dokily, everybody! (@Ametheliana @Gunhand4171 @Gles @Nameless @Megabirb @Sunny D). We are at the destination. Aiko has given orders to find someone specific with only a name to go by. This place is filled with gangsters and shady people. And normal people, too! Nepleslian working class and mutants and underbelly folks everywhere. The information broker's name is apparently "Ramios."

I don't need anyone to necessarily come up with the NPC they approach for information. But if everyone can give me their character's cold approach with where they go in the bar and what they ask, then I can roll my (figurative) GM dice and come up with the NPC answering them.

I've put Rio and Morgana on booth duty since Mega and Sunny seem less available right now.
 
Thanks for all the last minute posts, everybody! Glad to be able to get this one out on a Wednesday night (it still counts past midnight!). Maybe next week we'll get back to a Tuesday post, but no promises.

I've given everyone some stuff to do. Even if it's just drinking. The trio at the bar can all talk to the 'tender. It's not like he'll get offended that one of the three cuts in. It's a social place, after all!

I said May would be hard on you guys, so get ready to post a few times a week pleeeaase! Post in both the Nep main mission and this open battle in Elysia. We have new players waiting on us to make landfall on Elysia Novus!

Here is the post to respond to in the Second Battle of Elysia: RP - [Battle of Elysia II] Ama no Ukihashi

For now, show what your characters are doing while waiting in the power armor bay. The ship itself will be pushing through the enemy line at this time, so there would be weapons fire on the ship, space battle outside of the force field shielded door out of the bay to space, and general readiness level condition one on the ship. The crew is aware the Kaiyo is getting in close and then they will be teleporting onto a Rampart Star Fortress to secure it.

I've had to dedicate tons of energy and time I don't have to advocating for myself behind closed doors lately and I'm really tired and burnt out because of that. That is all to say, please send virtual hugs my way. If you have them, I could use some words of affirmation to remind myself why I'm doing this, please. This (everything about SARP besides Kaiyo) is getting too stressful.
 
Life has been keeping me from being super active on Kaiyo lately but you've been a an absolute gem. You're knowledgeable and are always working hard to make sure everyone is having fun. It's really not hard to see how much you love SARP and I'm sorry to hear that anyone is questioning that.
 
Writing on the Kaiyo plot that you invited me to was the best thing to happen to me, RP-wise, in a long time.
 
I'm really enjoying the whole crew we have here. The activity of the mission threads really bring me back to my younger forum rp days. Really got me back into the whole RP thing. Been drifting here and there between sites but for the longest time it just didn't seem to stick with me, but you definitely managed to keep me hooked for this long! Glad you reached out when you did because it lead to one more OC I can cherish
 
I'm really touched and your words made today easier.

To be clear, I didn't mean second bsttle of elysia is too much- I'll post there for kaiyo peeps when my motivation meter fills back up. You guys really helped jumpstart that, I appreciate you sharing mine and the plot's impact immensely.
 
Man, I completely forgot to update OOC here after posting. Sorry! We're moving along steadily, @Ametheliana @Gunhand4171 @Gles @Nameless @Megabirb @Sunny D. Pretty sure we're close to what we need from multiple avenues, but let's see how things pan out in the bar.

Good going those of you who've been able to post in the Second Battle of Elysia (and no worries to those who cannot). It's a lot to take on two missions at once either way. The site usually has a couple of big event battles like this per major meta war, so it's great to have everyone along as the next generation of Star Army heroes. We're gonna do great. Probably!
 
Wanted to drop by and thank you all for doing so well at keeping up with not just the mission but also the Battle of Elysia thread. Every one of you is smashing it. I'll probably post in the standard Kaiyo mission tomorrow, so if the trailing twosome at the bar want to add in anything toward the bartender (or whatever else) then you've got 24ish hours. No worries, though!

We've got a couple of new players over in the Battle of Elysia thread, who will hopefully join us fully next mission.
