OOC YSS Kaiyō II Discussion

It's not too bad. Ame just doesn't like using her desktop and can certainly keep up GM posting.

That said, our GM wanted me to point out and/or remind you guys that Aiko gave everyone orders in-character. The present equipment is very clearly some kind of refueling gubbinz so let's not blow our cover :cool:

I separated the captain talking to Aiko and the NMX talking to crew with a - to make readability/ finding what to respond to better.

I'll post again this weekend!

@Megabirb this is THE time to hop in. Just say how you would help refuel an NMX ship while also dressed up as an NMX. You don't have to catch up on posts and if you make some mistake with the established scene, it's no biggie. Just get in this round or next since experience tells me you won't want to jump in later!

I feel like everyone's posts had really good body language, just wow! I was thinking I would just get some dialogue responses up and not try to match your posting prowess there, guys, sorry!
 
Ame asked me to tag everyone so here it is! (@Gles, @Gunhand4171, @krisslanza, @aitoseigi, @Sunny D, @Megabirb, @Ametheliana, @Nameless)

I've sorted everyone present toward some destinations. If Ame doesn't like the assignments she or I can edit them, but I think they make some amount of sense based on everything. Character names are bolded where they are mentioned because we're using NMX names in dialogue but character names in narration.

  • Gles and Nameless: aether leak in engineering since things seem to have been set up IC for that.
  • Sunny D and Megabirb: bridge for piloting, the idea is that Rio has maybe picked some helm up during SAINT training, and Erika already has that skill listed. Plus they're secret agents who can glean command data on the bridge.
  • aitoseigi: Asuka's with Charbon in the cargo hold because Asuka loves explosives and that's where the bombs are.
  • krisslanza and Gunhand: gotta go to the prisoner area; maybe we can take a detour on the way there. We'll see!
 
Its not like she's aware, but Aiko is trying to send an Advanced type to the bridge, where Erika and Rio already have to deal with one.
 

This came on during my run and the lyrics go I just wanna say I think you're pretty cool :^3 and my immediate thought was "me @ the kaiyo players. today is thanksgiving and I'm pretty thankful for them!" Wanted you all to know!
 
Just a heads up, I'll be gone for a week starting on December 2 but I might still be able to hop on discord now and then. If I do manage to post in that time, it'd likely just be a quick short one considering I am a really slow typer on the phone.
 
Thanks for the heads up! It’ll feel strange to maybe not have a Sif post for a cycle, but I hope you have a good time with whatever you’re doing :D
 
I was thinking today about christmas/year end RP. Since Hoshi usually hosts an event and OOC is not found, there won't be a christmas party for the crew. I was hoping to finish this mission in time but we didn't get there.

For your own RP and JPs you may choose to do with friends/other players, your characters have not seen Hoshi at all and are only kind of sure she was saved.

I'd love to speed things along and will reply when you give me the opportunity, so get posts in!
 
Oh no! Hoshi usually throws Aiko a birthday get-together since the Imperial family can't be bothered to do something for their most renowned princess 🥲 We will be absolutely adrift without Hoshi and a tanjobi thread to celebrate the Kaiyo and XO's birthday.
 
I may not be part of the crew these days but should for sure throw a birthday for Aiko even if we have to bring a programable Hoshi Holo for it. Will say still top tier :)
