Yo, everybody! (@Ametheliana @Gunhand4171 @Gles @Nameless @Megabirb). Awesome to see everyone welcoming our new players :) They'll start being tagged in these GM messages when they fully join us, which will be soon. The Second Battle of Elysia is essentially our next mission! Gotta post there this weekend.

Sorry for the delay on my latest post! As Ame said recently, SARP can be stressful sometimes in completely unnecessary ways. And those troubles usually pass, which they did. I just had to breathe for a second and decompress. Now to get back to telling cool sci-fi stories because that's what the Star Army Roleplay is all about! Thanks a ton for being here to help make those stories truly great here on the Kaiyō plot.
 
Hello, party people (@Ametheliana @Gunhand4171 @Gles @Nameless @Megabirb). Sorry I haven't posted a GM post in quite some time. At least for me. Had a bunch of appointments and commitments the past while and they've kept me beat and dead tired for the first time in a long time. It doesn't bother me much because I have made at least one IC post per week (averaged depending on fellow player needs) every single week since December 2022! So it's okay to have a little unscheduled break, ya know?

That said, I will be posting by Sunday. Probably Sunday itself because I'm waking up early to run a Sci-World discord RP convention panel tomorrow. Sorry again for the delay!

If anyone wants to pile on another IC post interacting with fellow players then that's fine by me.
 
I forgot to ask this in the older players' questionnaire but do y'all f with Charbon? Should the next plot arc have something to do with her or was she not memorable?

Sorry about the delay, too. A lot of responsibilities and exutracuriciculars in raz and my downtime that have messed with posting schedule. I'll be taking back over once 2nd battle of elysia wraps up/ before the end of the month!
 
Thank you for your patience, everyone. I know I said I would take over at the end of the month but battle of elysia posts were slow and raz wants to finish his mission.

The best thing you could do to get the next mission underway is post in both of those when there's a GM post.

I have the start to the next thread written, just waiting on those two threads/stories to wrap up. I feel awful that it's taking so long, please understand.

Latest post is shorter than I wanted, but I think it wraps things up nicely. Sorry for the lag on these past couple of cycles. I'm a guy who can handle some good writing once a week, but with the Battle of Elysia added in I simply couldn't keep up with the switching gears between epic combat and playing underworld cyberpunk NPCs. The mission was intended to continue into a sci-fi dungeon crawl type thing, but at seven pages in that part will have to wait. Hopefully we can return someday and dungeon delve now that the information is successfully obtained! (or is it all just BS bad intel?).

You guys can keep posting if you'd like but there's nothing critical left that will stop Ame from starting the next mission. Thank you for being a part of this little detour adventure on Nepleslia. We will be getting our two new players in the next thread (@Caelesetos and @aitoseigi) so, again, welcome to them!
 
I love the way every NPC had something interesting and unique to them but very Nepleslian if that makes sense. From Mrs. Ramios' neon gumline to the shopkeeper's throat vape, I feel like every one of them had something interesting in a very cyberpunk way that's cool to read. Definitely the best civilan RP Nepleslia's gotten that I've seen.

I appreciate that but even moreso, having you GM <3

Man, now it's just on me to wrap up battle of elysia! Sorry if the story there isn't ready yet but it has to be done to not have kaiyo locked up too much.

Hoshi thought a lot about Sif and Molli, so here's a lil illustration of them. Thank you guys for being a part of our ship for so long and helping me feel comfortable taking on new players.

Hoshi's inner thoughts aren't meant to be cold, but taking on new crewmen is tough! She'll warm up with good reason!

I feel spoiled every time I see Molli art, doubly so when the valkyrie is with her. Thanks, Ame, and I hope to see @Megabirb again soon. The new girl trio need to reunite.
