It was a violation of my Player's Rights, specifically: "I have the right to maintain sole control over my character's development and nature." No misinformation is being spread by me. I'll be here waiting for the situation to be rectified.
 
Just posting this for posterity. The Staff has chosen to enable harassment of me from a player who has a history of harassing me. We had more posts than any single plot in the faction (and the site) by a large margin. It was a good run. I may make one more because I told Ame I would but I'm not sure if there's any point now. We can roleplay again when the harassment against me is addressed appropriately.

Someone from an older generation of Ketsurui calling Aiko "Aiko-chan" instead of "Aiko-san" is not harassment or an attack, getting blocked by Kim for sending her a rude message is not harassment. Honoring player rights by refusing to change a player's post is not harassment.

@raz I think you're having trouble keeping IC and OOC apart. It's like you have this desire for Aiko to be universally seen as some sort of paragon of Yamatai, and if anything seems to go against that, you lash out as if it's an attack on your identity. It's unreasonable, man. It's too much. I can only put up with this drama for so long and you're testing my patience.

As always, Ame and Kaiyo have my full support to continue if they're able to go on. Please don't take your obsession with Aiko drag down other people in the plot who just want to RP and have fun.

I didn't give up when people talked trash about Hanako or Yui, and that was actual insults not -chan honorifics. I don't think you should either. I don't have personal beef with you (and I even led a charge to bring you back), I only had issues with some things you've said/done from time to time. If you're going to leave, I just want to say I'm grateful for all you've done and RPed. I think it was a good run too, and I still appreciate you even if you go.

Before getting into anything else, I need to iterate this is canon. Aiko is a paragon of Yamatai. Her article, as you approved it, says she was created to "represent the heart and soul of Yamatai on the front lines." The trajectory of her story is that she was just another Neko thrust into such expectations, and then through 9 years of roleplay I have written her living up to and surpassing the propaganda of her birth, as well as the associated tension and struggles. The entire Kikyo Sector knows of Kitsurugi Aiko's deeds.

With that last bit out of the way.

I'd like to apologize to Wes and all of Kaiyo's players for the trouble and hold-up. For Wes, I know it's difficult to be an admin of such a diverse community, and so me putting you in that situation of having to offend one friend or another was wrong of me. You do a good job here. The stress for everyone was unnecessary, but I think most of it falls onto your shoulders because of your unique position as sole master of this domain, so sorry for that. Thank you for having created a sci-fi universe that everyone can passionately contribute to.

To our players, I'm sorry that any of this took up our time. It wasn't meant to be more public than my first post in this series. Sorry for my part in our delay, but this has been resolved so we will delay no longer.
 
New post up starting the briefing. The (acting) captain did her spiel, and I hope it's correct from Ame's notes (we only discussed the mission plan verbally not in a chat).

Everyone is encouraged talk and ask questions about the mission. Aiko's final question was partly rhetorical, so there's no shame in butting in.
 
I was hesitant to weigh in. I shared some info on honorifics and hoped it would resolve while talking with Wes (good friend, thank you for constant well wishes!)

He's asked raz to avoid mention of cliques/same group of players that target us. Perhaps I am included in that, idk, but I want to say:

I'm more than willing to be convinced. Make me have nothing worth mentioning by not doing anything insane. If there's really no systematic oppression happening against me or the plot then show me. I'm going to go ahead and close the reports made on my posts from this OOC thread and look forward to everyone just focusing on their own RP and letting my do mine my own way from here on out. My life on here will be easier if there really is nothing like that.
 
TLDR on the briefing:

-Board ship
-Murder everyone inside and steal it
-Get access codes
-Fly to enemy fleet and use the ship and codes to get past their security
-Say we've got a HVT they're gonna wanna do experiments on
-Dock with the ship they do the experiments on
-HVT gets taken to the lab where all the experiments take place and research data is likely to be. Also Hoshi if she's aboard
-Steal everything not bolted down and somethings that are
-Teleport out

For the record I have no idea how its actually going to play out. Ame just said it was a cool idea when I described it to her, and then made inferences that she already had plans to throw spanners in the works.

Remember if it goes really sideways and there is no escape, we do have a really big bomb so we can all ST!
 
I broke my laptop in a hot chocolate related catastrophe and only have my very pristine vintage one to use rn so I'm going to be semi-AFK unless posting. Ask raz any questions in discord or he'll tell me if I get @'d (I don't have discord on my phone).
